Jett Giving Fund Gifts Handicap Accessible Van to Harris Family in Wisconsin

What is better than ‘that Friday feeling’? That new car smell! Jett Foundation officially announces that today we gifted the Harris family of Wisconsin with a brand new handicap accessible vehicle as part of the Jett Giving Fund.

The Jett Giving Fund is a matching gift program that helps families affected by Duchenne who are struggling to afford special equipment such as handicap accessible vehicles, scooters, and rotating beds.

“So, we just try to take it day by day and give him the best life we can, which this van helps so much to give him a good quality of life”
- Angie Harris

After the Harris family, with the help of their local community, raised half the cost of the handicap accessible van for the Jett Giving Fund, Jett Foundation matched those funds and gifted the van to Hayden Harris and his family. Also, the Jett Foundation extends a special thank you to Steve from GT Mobility for being part of this life-changing gift.

All smiles today in Green Bay! Sue Scroggins, Director of Finance and Operations, was in Wisconsin today to present the van on behalf of Jett Foundation.

Jett Foundation could not provide this one-of-a-kind program to the Duchenne community without the help of our generous partners, Two Smiles One Hope and Suneel's Light Foundation. Thank you for your generous partnership.
