The JettRiders were treated to a yummy breakfast thanks to the Kelly Family in Pennsylvania before departing on their 60 mile journey to the next stop. Thank you to the Kelly Family for your hospitality and generosity to our riders!
Today’s ride was a fast 39 miles and the JettRiders arrived in Cumberland, MD at 1:00pm. The ride was through a beautiful stretch of the Great Allegheny Passage. The 150-mile Great Allegheny Passage traces America's westward expansion through a chain of cyclist-friendly trail towns. The JettRiders rode through a couple of tunnels and had sweeping views of their surroundings along the trail.
At the end of the day, the JettRiders went out to celebrate National Ice Cream Day at a nearby Dairy Queen. Another customer picked up their bill, and, turns out, he’s was a member of the church that hosted us for the evening!
