Join Our Team: Help Wanted

February 4, 2016

We know you’re out there. And, we’re looking for you. Camp Promise is looking to fill a spring internship at our office in Kingston, MA and we’re hoping you can help!

Are you someone who likes to see projects through? Do you multi-task like it’s your job (with us, it will be!)? Are you detail-oriented, yet always looking for ways to streamline processes and improve efficiency? Are you a leader who can work independently and likes to make things happen?

At Camp Promise we’re all about working with our hands, learning news things on the go, innovating and creating, and being flexible. Our intern will get the chance to learn all about running a medical camp, from its administration and programming, to recruitment and communications. You’ll also have a lot of opportunities to take the lead on projects and interact with our campers and their families. If you like a fast-paced environment, this position is for you!

For those who already know and love camp, you’ll get to see the magic of summer in our office, too. But rest assured, we’re also open to working with someone new to Camp Promise, and even new to camp in general. While we can’t wait to introduce you to our energetic, creative, and Yes we can! attitude, the most important thing to us is that you’re a hard worker, you take initiative, and you are willing to see projects through. Are you interested in special education, adaptive recreation, outdoor education, business administration, nonprofit management, or other related fields? Then we want to hear from you!

The reality is that putting on a camp for individuals with special health care needs take a lot of work, a variety of skills, a lot of improvisation, and more heart than any one individual has. We’re looking for the right fit for our team, but we know you’re out there and we can’t wait to meet you!

PS- If you’re a college student and you’d like credit for this internship, just let us know and we can work with your institution!
