Jett Foundation is honored to be selected as one of Kohl’s beneficiaries through Kohl’s National Giving Program. The organization has awarded a Kohls’ Cares® grant of $10,000 in support of Jett Foundation’s summer camp program–Camp Promise–for children, teens, and adults impacted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy and select neuromuscular disorders.
This gift allows us to continue to offer amazing experiences through Camp Promise; Jett Foundation hosts camp every summer at no cost to campers. At camp, young people are able to engage and participate in activities that they have never had the chance to do before like rock climbing, hot-air ballooning, zip lining, archery, and more. They form life-long friendships with their peers and counselors. These bonds form a network of people on whom they often rely on for support the other 51 weeks of the year.
Kohl’s grant to Jett Foundation was made through Kohl’s National Giving Program, which awards more than $3 million in grants annually to nonprofits with a mission to support health and wellness for families.
