Willz Crew T-Shirts

Thank you to everyone who made a gift towards Jett Foundation, in honor of Will. Together, you have provided more than $3,200 to support our programs, and families!

This page is no longer accepting donations as the t-shirts have been ordered. Please follow up with Blake directly if you have any questions about your shirt.

As the days of elementary school wind down for Will, we are so blessed to celebrate so many successes. We are very proud of our soon-to-be-11-year-old. He continues to surpass our expectations and maneuver through all the obstacles in his signature  “Will” way. From making all A’s and serving as a safety patrol (no bike rack has ever been so welcoming or well-managed!) to seeing him singing onstage at the JCA or at school, our hearts bursts with pride for all that he has accomplished… especially when you consider how much harder he has to work that the rest of us.

We are also so proud of the person he is: loving, kind, trustworthy, faithful and funny. He is our light that has shown us how to navigate the cobbled path that is life with Duchenne. He does it with this steadfast resolve that many of us will never have… much less at 10 years old. Through him, we have had this army of amazing people in our lives who we are so very grateful for. But we feel pretty certain, all of our lives are better because of Will.

Our mission as a family is simple. To make the most of this incredible life we have been given and to fight like heck to cure and end Duchenne. For us, organizations such as the Jett Foundation will help us achieve this mission which is why we have decided to focus our fundraising efforts to support them.

Started by a family much like ours, the Jett Foundation began to fund DMD research. Seventeen years and over $16 million dollars later, the Foundation is one of the leaders in funding biomedical Duchenne research. In addition to research, they are helping families like ours by hosting education roundtables around the country, assisting in the purchase of medical and accessibility equipment and representing the Duchenne community on important advocacy efforts just to name a few. They also run 3 incredible, fully-accessible summer camps for those that live with neuromuscular disease. Will is counting down the days until he can attend Camp Promise in Connecticut this July.

We hope you will support Willz Crew and the Jett Foundation. Our t-shirt tradition not only will help us fight Duchenne, but it reminds us of the tremendous support that continues to richly bless Will and our family. We couldn’t do it without you!

Thank you,
Bill, Blake, Will, Caroline & Olivia
