When Matt Trudeau, President of ITF Therapeutics, talks about Jett’s Place, he doesn’t start with buildings or fundraising goals.
He talks about people.
He imagines young men gathering to play video games, build friendships, and experience the everyday moments that don’t happen by chance.
“Barriers to accessibility are a huge challenge for the Duchenne community,” Matt said. “Jett’s Place will give families a place where they can focus on making memories together—not overcoming obstacles.”
ITF Therapeutics was launched with a clear purpose: to partner closely with the Duchenne muscular dystrophy community and deliver meaningful impact for individuals affected by Duchenne. That purpose is what made supporting Jett’s Place such a natural fit.

“A big part of our job at ITF Therapeutics is to listen, learn, and give back where we can,” Matt continued. “I hope the Duchenne community sees us as good guests—doing our best and giving back.”
That philosophy made Jett Foundation’s vision for Jett’s Place an easy one to embrace.
“When Jett Foundation came to us and our Board of Directors and gave us an opportunity to be a founding contributor for Jett’s Place, quite frankly it was an easy decision.”
The reason was simple: ITF Therapeutics believes deeply in Jett Foundation’s mission and its ability to bring this vision to life.
“From the very beginning, we had a very high level of confidence in Jett Foundation’s ability to execute the capital campaign, then execute the build, and create a meaningful space for the community to connect. Their mission is clear, and it aligns with ITF’s mission and values.”
That confidence led ITF Therapeutics to make a transformational $1 million leadership gift, helping launch the campaign to build the nation’s first wellness and retreat sanctuary designed specifically for individuals and families living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
For Matt, however, the true impact won’t be measured in dollars or square feet.
“When I think about Jett’s Place, what matters most is how the community is going to feel. How the young men and boys who have the opportunity to connect are going to feel. What really matters is the hope and the promise that this vision creates for the community.”
He smiles when he imagines opening day.
“I’ll feel great when I see a couple guys arguing about whether the Red Sox or the Yankees are better this year. Or just hanging out and connecting with one another.”
It’s a simple vision—but a powerful one. A place where accessibility is no longer a barrier. A place where friendships are formed, families find support, and individuals living with Duchenne experience the freedom to simply belong.
