We Make Happy Campers

Welcome to Camp Promise, a free summer camp and year-round program for kids, teens, and adults with neuromuscular disorders. Each year, campers and volunteers from all over the country join us at our many locations and online at virtual events. Will you be the next member of the Camp Promise family?

2025 Dates & Locations

Camp Promise is proud to offer our program at many locations across the country as well as one camp virtually. Think of us like a circus that comes into town, gives a magical experience, then packs up until the next year when we get to do it all over again!

Our Mission

As a program of Jett Foundation, Camp Promise helps Jett Foundation meet its mission by providing a barrier-free, overnight camp for kids, teens, and adults (13 years of age and older) with muscular dystrophy or select neuromuscular diseases — regardless of capability or ability to pay.

Our camper-focused programming builds independence, confidence, and life skills through traditional camp activities and by bringing campers new experiences through adaptation, technology, creativity, and special guests.

Campers

Camp Promise accepts campers ages 13 years or older who have muscular dystrophy or another eligible neuromuscular disorder.

Parents

Camp is for the camper, but it’s pretty great for our campers’ families, too. We’ll make sure your camper is safe and happy so you can relax and have peace of mind.

Volunteers

From counselors to medical staff to activities staff, we’re 100% staffed by volunteers at Camp Promise. Whatever your skills are, we will put them to use!
