Jett Foundation’s Camp Promise crew came together at the beautiful Camp Spearhead in Marietta, South Carolina from August 7-10 for another unforgettable session of Camp Promise – Southeast. With 20 campers and 24 volunteers, the long weekend was filled with laughter, connection, and plenty of Camp Promise magic.
Every day was packed with activities that brought campers and volunteers closer together, whether through arts & crafts, games, campfire sing-alongs, hayrides, Music Bingo, or simply sharing stories and building friendships that will last far beyond the summer. For many, Camp Promise is more than just a camp; it’s a community and a second family.

This year was extra special as Jett Foundation’s Social Worker, Jessica Campbell, joined in the fun alongside her son, who lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Jessica shared: “Camp Promise – Southeast gave my son a chance to experience independence in a safe, supportive space while being surrounded by friends who truly understand him. As both a parent and a staff member, I am so grateful for the love and inclusivity that this community offers – it’s a gift to our entire family. Heading to camp in Marietta was a beautifully unique experience for my son and I!”
The bonds formed over the four days at Camp Spearhead were nothing short of magical. As the weekend came to a close, no one wanted to say goodbye, but instead, we left with full hearts and excitement for next year’s reunion.
Until then, we’ll hold tight to the memories, friendships, and joy that make Camp Promise – Southeast such a unique and cherished part of our Jett Foundation family.
