WMUR 9, a news station based in Manchester, New Hampshire, shared the story and celebration of the Petz family who live in Bedford, NH, and are recipients of an accessible vehicle as part of Jett Foundation’s Jett Giving Fund. The van was presented to the family on June 11, 2024.
When accepted into the Accessible Vehicle Fund branch of the Jett Giving Fund, families aim to raise half the funds needed or more for their equipment. Once families reach their goal, Jett Foundation steps in to purchase the item they need and coordinate delivery.

BEDFORD, N.H. —
The family of a little boy in Bedford who lost his ability to walk now has an accessible vehicle thanks to a charitable foundation.
Logan Petz lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a rare neuromuscular disorder.
“The community support has been amazing. We couldn’t believe how many people came out and donated and came out to our event. It was actually for just being here two years, the people really stepped up,” Tim Petz, Logan’s father, said.
The new van will give him the chance to get out more often.
“It makes me so happy to see Logan actually happy and be able to go in and out of the vehicle as needed and him be happy because he gets stuck at home sometimes more than often, and the other boys get to go do things, you know. It’s easier for us to go do things with us,” Tim Petz said.
The van was gifted through the Jett Foundation’s accessible vehicle program.
“To be able to be here and celebrate this family being able to get out into their community as a family and do things together is quite amazing,” Eric Snyder, executive director of the Jett Foundation, said.
According to the Jett Foundation, the family is excited to use their new vehicle on an upcoming family camping trip.
