We are thrilled to announce our latest partnership with the Joy in Childhood Foundation®. Jett Foundation is honored to be selected as one of the organization’s beneficiaries and awarded a generous gift of $20,000 in support of our programming for children. To top off this incredible gift, the Joy in Childhood Foundation® surprised our team with a Dunkin’ breakfast to celebrate!
The Joy in Childhood Foundation®, powered by Dunkin’ & Baskin-Robbins, as well as the generosity of their franchisees, corporate partners, employees and guests, has granted $25 million to hundreds of national and local charities across the country to support children’s health and hunger relief. Their mission is to provide the simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger or illness by giving grants to food banks, children’s hospitals and nonprofit organizations serving kids when they need it most. As part of the foundation, franchisees and brand employees volunteer their time to identify the biggest needs in their communities; organize local fundraising and volunteer events; and conduct local grantmaking, to maximize their impact for kids who need joy the most.
This gift allows us to continue to offer amazing experiences for children through programs like Camp Promise. Jett Foundation hosts camp every summer at no cost to campers. Adaptive hot-air ballooning, adaptive cycling, archery, fishing, power soccer, boating, zip-lining, rock wall climbing, talent shows, petting zoos, magic shows, prom-posals, pranks, and Kangaroo Court are all joyful opportunities that kids experience at Camp Promise. Young people are able to engage and participate in activities that they have never had the chance to do before and form life-long friendships with their peers and counselors. These bonds form a network of people on whom they often rely on for support the other 51 weeks of the year.
