Golfers, sponsors, supporters, families and many more contributed to the success of Jett Foundation’s annual golf tournament fundraiser, the Jett Golf Classic. Held on October 1, 2024, the tournament hosted 156 golfers over two beautiful, 18-hole courses at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
In teams of four, participants enjoyed lunch and specialty shot competitions during their day of play before returning to the clubhouse for cocktail hour. To conclude the day, our community joined indoors for dinner and a live auction with proceeds benefiting Jett Foundation’s programs for individuals and families impacted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Live auction items included Boston Bruins tickets, Celtics tickets with an overnight stay, New England Patriots training camp volunteer opportunities, a private Montilio’s Pizza Wagon party, a luxury three-night stay in Newport, RI, and tickets to the 2025 Waste Management Golf Open in Arizona.
Through golfer participation, auction items, raffle prizes and generous donations, Jett Foundation raised nearly $145,000 to directly support programs and resources that assist families living with Duchenne.
“It was both exciting and beautiful to see our community step forward for Jett Foundation again this year at the Jett Golf Classic,” says Jett’s Development Events Manager, Emily Hubert. “We can’t say thank you enough to the tournament’s sponsors, all participants, families who joined us at dinner, and many other supporters. This golf tournament punctuates the consistent support our community is willing to give year-in and year-out.”
Jett Foundation thanks the 36 sponsors who helped make this year’s tournament possible, including Shea Concrete, our Jett Golf Classic ACE Sponsor. We are very appreciative to Shea Concrete for their many years of support and were happy to see them enjoy a day on the course in Plymouth.
We look forward to hosting our tournament fundraiser again in 2025 at the beautiful Pinehills Golf Club! There is also still time to donate; click here to help us support many individuals and families living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
