Camper Application Process

The goal of our application process is to get to know the personality and needs of our campers. This helps us match campers 1:1 with a counselor who will be a good fit, and also helps ensure that our medical staff and team are ready for campers to make a smooth transition to camp.

Camp Promise Retreat – SoCal (18+): May 10-12, 2024 at Camp Paivika in Crestline, CA
Camp Promise Connect (Virtual): May 24-26 via Zoom
Camp Promise – West: June 9-14 at Camp Korey in Mount Vernon, WA
Camp Promise Retreat – Ohio (18+): June 29-July 2 at Akron Rotary Club in Akron, OH

Camp Promise Retreat – Arizona: July 25-28 at Whispering Hope Ranch in Payson, AZ
Camp Promise Rockies: July 28-Aug 2 at Rocky Mountain Village in Empire, CO
Camp Promise – South East: August 2-4, 2024 at Pleasant Ridge Retreat Center in Marietta, SC
Camp Promise East: August 11-19 at Arrowhead Bible Camp in Brackney, PA

Step 1: Online Application

All applicants, including returning campers, must complete an online application. As part of this online application, you will be asked to upload the following:

Current photo
Government-issued photo ID (for campers 18+)
Copy of your insurance card(s) (front & back)

Step 2: Medical Documents

For the health and safety of all of our campers, each camper must complete a medical exam and have their doctor complete the Camp Promise Medical Form. As part of your online application, you will be asked to upload the following:

Signed and completed Medical Form (all campers)
Personal Medication List (all campers)
Copy of immunization records
Additional medical directives (optional)

Medical documents must be filled out and submitted no later than 10 week prior to the start of your camp.

Step 3: Interview

Once your application is complete, you’ll receive an invitation via email to schedule a call with a member of our leadership team. We like to chat with you to help make sure we’ve got everything you would need at camp, to discuss your goals and needs for the week, and to see what we can do to make sure you have a safe, comfortable, and fun week at camp. A link to your video chat and scheduling system will be sent to you via email.

NOTE: Applicants will not be considered for a spot in a cabin until they complete their interview, so make sure to schedule yours as soon as you receive your email invitation!
