Where: Hopkinton, MA
What: Title 9 Triathlon | Sprint Triathlon | Swim: .25 mile; Bike: 15 mile; Run: 3 mile
Fundraising Commitment: $500

The Gals for Cal triathlon team began with one mom, Cindy Quitzau and her son Cal, who was diagnosed with Duchenne 13 years ago. She wanted to challenge herself and challenge Duchenne while raising funds and awareness for Jett Foundation and the families we serve. Gals for Cal’s dedication to this community has resulted in nearly $700,000 raised since their founding, which has provided vital support to Jett Foundation’s mission of improving the lives of children and young adults impacted by Duchenne.

Today, the Gals for Cal team has grown from 10 friends and family that first year to well over 150 women over the past 12 years.

You don’t need to know someone with Duchenne to be part of this team, but you can bike, swim, and run for those who can’t. And, bask in the motivating and inspiring “Go Gals!” cheers along the route with every step you take!
