Dear Jett Foundation family,
Jett Foundation will continue to honor our commitment to supporting families impacted by Duchenne in everything we do while balancing the needs of our community with the concern caused by coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
While our mission is fulfilled by the various community engagement opportunities and programs that we hold throughout the year, we are acutely aware of the need to protect those with Duchenne muscular dystrophy who may be more vulnerable. With this in mind, Jett Foundation has made the difficult decision to cancel all events and programs through the end of April including:
- New Orleans Porch Nite, March 28
- Kansas City Family Workshop, April 4
- Des Moines Family Workshop, April 18
- Little Rock Porch Nite, April 25
We have also made the decision to postpone our May 7 fundraising event, the Celebration of Impact, until further notice. We have made this difficult decision out of an abundance of caution regarding COVID-19, and to prioritize the health and safety of our event attendees. We thank our sponsors for their continued support.
Jett Foundation is remaining vigilant and following all guidelines set forth by public health officials and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We will continue to reassess the situation and adjust our plans accordingly, should we need to cancel or postpone events beyond April.
At this time, we are not certain which, if any, events will be rescheduled. Jett Foundation will alert event registrants as soon as we know more and post updates to our website here.
