Katrina Goodman recently joined Jett Foundation as a Marketing and Communications Intern. She is a rising junior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying towards a double degree in Communications and an Individual Concentration. Katrina’s Individual Concentration focuses on Public Relations, Integrated Marketing, Strategic Communication, and Consumer Psychology. Along with her studies, she is a member of Chi Omega Fraternity in which she serves as the Marketing Assistant. She also is a Campus Manager at UMass for an apparel company called Fresh Prints.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercise, fashion, arts and crafts, reading, and going to the beach. She is passionate about psychology and astrology (she’s a Taurus) and loves learning about those topics in her free time. She also works as a Fashion Consultant at the styling company and brand Evereve. She loves fashion and really look up to Christine Daal, a fashion designer who has dedicated her career towards creating her own business with the mission of mentoring budding entrepreneurs into the competitive fashion industry.
Katrina has been passionate about philanthropy and non-profit work for as long as she can remember. In high school, she created a student organization called Fund the Fight which benefited homeless people in the Greater Boston area. Her favorite fundraising initiative was partnering with a local elementary school to teach children the importance of charity and collect over 1,200 toiletries for a local women’s shelter. She was also selected to partake in the Social Justice Institute at Rosie’s Place in 2017.
Katrina is so excited to work at the Jett Foundation because it provides her the opportunity by merging her passions for marketing and non-profit work in one position. She is so excited to be here and cannot wait to learn more about marketing and making impactful contributions towards people’s lives.
Welcome to the Jett Foundation Family, Katrina!
