Team Jett Runs for the Duchenne Community at the 2026 Falmouth Road Race

August 25, 2026

Jett Foundation’s Team Jett took part in the 54th annual Falmouth Road Race this past Sunday, an internationally recognized 7-mile seaside course, to raise funds and awareness for people and families affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This year, 18 members of Team Jett crossed the finish line alongside thousands of athletes of all ages and abilities, coming together to support local organizations and make a difference in their communities. ‘

For Ali Diniz, a sixth-year Falmouth Road Race runner, the race has become a summer tradition she and her husband look forward to each year. Being part of Team Jett gives Ali the opportunity to share Jett Foundation’s mission with her friends and family while supporting those living with Duchenne. “Being a part of team Jett has given me the motivation to do something I love for others who can’t,” Ali says. “I am proud to support this organization and run the Falmouth road race for them!”

The energy and encouragement from the crowd are also among Ali’s favorite parts of race day.

“One of my favorite parts of the race is when we come down the hill before mile 1 and you can see the large crowd of runners up ahead by the Nobska Lighthouse,” she says. “It is amazing to see all the runners out on the course supporting different charities. Passing the Jett tent at mile 6 is definitely a course highlight.”

Team Jett participants raised more than $25,000 and counting through this year’s race. These funds will support the programs and resources Jett Foundation provides to individuals and families impacted by Duchenne. Fundraising will remain open through September 31 for anyone who would still like to contribute. The Falmouth Road Race is just one of many fundraising events Team Jett participates in throughout the year. To round out 2026, Team Jett will take part in the Gals for Cal Triathlon on September 13 in Hopkinton, MA, the Cambridge Half Marathon and 5K on Halloween weekend, and the Charlotte Half Marathon and 5K on November 14. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or preparing for your first race, we hope you’ll consider joining Team Jett and helping us change the lives of individuals with Duchenne.

Athletic events like the Falmouth Road Race would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Thank you to Dyne Therapeutics, J. Calnan & Associates, NS Pharma, Sarepta Therapeutics, and Solid Biosciences for your continued partnership with Team Jett and the Duchenne community.
