The goal of our application process is to get to know the personality and needs of our campers. This helps us match campers 1:1 with a counselor who will be a good fit, and also helps ensure that our medical staff and team are ready for campers to make a smooth transition to camp.
All applicants, including returning campers, must complete an online application. As part of this online application, you will be asked to upload the following:
For the health and safety of all of our campers, each camper must complete a medical exam and have their doctor complete the Camp Promise Medical Form. As part of your online application, you will be asked to upload the following:
Medical documents must be filled out and submitted no later than 10 week prior to the start of your camp.
Returning camper interviews are optional, but Jett Foundation reserves the right to interview any applicant as deemed necessary to provide the best care at Camp Promise. Any camper is also welcome to schedule an interview with Camp Promise Leadership as part of the application process.
Accepted campers will receive a Welcome Packet via email that includes a camper handbook, list of theme days, packing list, and directions to camp.
View a recording of Jett Foundation’s virtual camp packing event featuring a conversation with a family from the Duchenne community. This family has attended Camp Promise for many years and shared tips, tricks, and best practices for preparing for a summer camp experience.
Enjoy the magic of Camp Promise at one of our in-person locations and virtual Camp Promise Connect weekend!
Tune in on February 29 to hear from our panel and moderators on how they are accomplishing goals and living life to the fullest!
Your gift helps Jett Foundation provide programming and opportunities, such as Camp Promise, to many families impacted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy each year.
