    About Zac Bentley

Zac is a donut fanatic who runs track and cross country competitively! In his spare time, you can find him doing yard work, water sports, or watching the “Yellowstone” TV show!

Where are you from? Tell us about you!

I was born and raised in South Coast Massachusetts, where I still live. I have grown to love living just outside of Cape Cod and a short drive into Boston, but not within the craziness of either. I have continued to compete at a high level of track & field, cross country, and road racing after college, and can’t wait to move up to the marathon distance soon. It has been a treat to stay connected with the athletic world while raising awareness for the Duchenne community at the same time.

What brings you to Jett Foundation?

I come from a public relations and communications background in the K-12 school system, and recently finished a Master’s degree in Public Administration, so Jett Foundation was a perfect fit for me to do what I love. The community that Jett Foundation serves is what first attracted me, and I’ve fallen in love with how we connect with the community through athletic events, workshops, and virtual events.

Tell us some fun facts about you!

    • My first job was on an apple farm at the age of 12.
    • I believe Moose Tracks is the best ice cream flavor!
    • One of my favorite activities is mowing the lawn!

What are you most excited about at Jett Foundation?

I am excited to help grow the participation from our community and those that choose to support families with Duchenne. Whether it be Go! for Duchenne events, family workshops, Camp Promise, or other events, I am very much looking forward to seeing Jett Foundation connect with more people across the globe.

How is the rare disease community accomplishing goals?

Tune in on February 29 to hear from our panel and moderators on how they are accomplishing goals and living life to the fullest!

Your gift helps Jett Foundation provide programming and opportunities, such as Camp Promise, to many families impacted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy each year.
