About Emma Fallon

We are excited to introduce Emma Fallon as Jett Foundation’s Marketing and Communications Intern for the spring/summer of 2025!

Emma is a rising senior at Elon University in North Carolina, where she’s majoring in Strategic Communications. This summer, she’s bringing her passion for storytelling and community impact to the marketing team at Jett Foundation. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her diving into a new drama novel, taking walks with her dog, or squeezing in a quick day trip to Cape Cod!

Where are you from? Tell us about you!

“I was born in Needham, Massachusetts, just 20 minutes outside of Boston. I grew up in Needham and still spend most summers in town. Being so close to Boston has given me some of my favorite memories, especially just walking through the city with my family. Having had enough of the cold weather, I went South for college, located currently in North Carolina. While I love the warmth of the South, I am excited to find my way back to a city postgrad. As I approach my final year at Elon, I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned and all the memories I’ve made.”

What brings you to Jett Foundation?

“My passion for communications and helping others led me to Jett Foundation. My mom works in the nonprofit world, so I’ve grown up seeing the fulfillment that comes from serving a community. Studying strategic communications has deepened my understanding of how impactful strong messaging and outreach can be. I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned and contribute to Jett Foundation’s mission and the Duchenne community.”

Tell us some fun facts about you!

  • “My favorite tv show is New Girl, and my favorite movie is Shawshank redemption!”
  • “My high school volleyball team won our state championship 3 years in a row!”
  • “I studied Abroad in Copenhagen last fall.”

What are you most excited about at Jett Foundation?

“I’m really looking forward to getting involved in community engagement, especially around Duchenne events and family programs. The core of Jett Foundation is the community it serves, and I’m excited to be part of that. Whether it’s encouraging engagement or supporting families directly, I can’t wait to contribute and be a part of such a dedicated and compassionate team.”
