A New Website For a New Year

January 9, 2017

We’re entering our 9th season of Camp Promise and it’s gotten us thinking about where we were and where we’re going. To that end, we realized it was time to update our website, to really show off who we are.

Terin and Libby have been working on this project for the past couple of months, and we’re so excited to finally announce its arrival! Same URL, but now our new and improved design brings you updated content, photos you’ve never seen before, and info that will get EVERYONE ready for Summer 2017.

Some of our favorite sections include:

  1. Our Team: We love our Unit Leaders for all of the time and energy they donate to our campers each summer. These are the folks we rely on to keep everyone safe, set the culture of camp, and train our new volunteers. They’re great resources for campers and volunteers alike, and if you want to learn more about them and our leadership staff, check out Our Team!
  2. Parent Testimonies: We all know how great camp is for our campers, but we also recognize what camp does for parents and families. So, if you’re not sure your child is ready for camp (or if you’re not sure you’re ready for them to go to camp), or if you’re not sure what to do with a weeks worth of free time, check out the Parent Testimonies page to hear from other parents who have been in your shoes.
  3. Day In The Life: As much as we’d like to tell you EXACTLY what camp will be like, we can’t. Part of the magic of camp is that no two days are ever the same. However, to help you get a feel for what camp is like, check out our collection of Day in the Life testimonies from both campers and volunteers!
  4. Gallery: Don’t miss our photo and video gallery, it will give you a great glimpse into the memories we make at camp each summer.

We hope you enjoy our new website and find it easy to use. Check back often because our goal is to make this new website a living, breathing piece of Camp Promise. We’ll be posting on our blog and social media channels more often now, and we can’t wait for you to join us for the ride!

PS- Many thanks to the campers, parents, Unit Leaders, and counselors who submitted content and wacky photos for our new website. Thank you for contributing you camp spirit to our website and giving it a true sense of camp energy!
