Throughout 2025, Jett Foundation proudly traveled to four incredible communities—Iowa City, IA; Birmingham, AL; Rochester, NY; and Norfolk, VA—to host Family Workshops for the Duchenne muscular dystrophy community. Each stop brought families, clinicians, researchers, industry partners, and community advocates together for a day of learning, connection, and empowerment.
With support from our generous sponsors and the dedication of professionals across the Duchenne muscular dystrophy space, we provided families with up-to-date information on care, research, therapies, and community resources. These workshops continue to serve as touchpoints of hope and guidance for families navigating a Duchenne muscular dystrophy diagnosis.
Throughout the year, attendees engaged in presentations covering topics such as:
- Multidisciplinary clinical care
- DMD basics and treatment strategies
- Cardiology, pulmonary, and respiratory care
- Caregiver and female carrier topics
- Access to therapies and clinical trials
- Community resource navigation
- Pharma presentations and Q&A’s
- Urgent care and palliative planning
We were thrilled to bring our signature agenda format to each location, and many of the workshop days featured unique sessions tailored to local clinicians and experts.

They offer up-to-date information on the latest treatments and medical advancements, ensuring that families are well-informed and can make educated decisions about their health and care.”

As we close out this year of workshops, we are already preparing for an even stronger reach in 2026. New locations and dates will be announced very soon, and we cannot wait to continue expanding access to trusted information and supportive spaces for families across the country.
