We Speak Duchenne was created to support caregivers and people living with Duchenne navigate the complexities of a Duchenne muscular dystrophy diagnosis and treatment. The website offers a series of resources that explain the critical role dystrophin plays in Duchenne and muscle function, discuss available treatment options, spotlight the inspiring stories of those living with Duchenne, and includes a glossary of terms via the Duchenne-opedia page to help people better understand common words related to diagnosis and care.
Accompanying the website, they also launched a WeSpeakDuchenne Facebook page, which will promote educational content and the stories of those living with DMD.
