Join us for a live webinar–FibroGen DMD Program Overview–as part of our Community Webinar Series. This webinar is an informational session with FibroGen, which will provide an overview of their DMD program, including their PH2 study outcomes and PH3 LELANTOS program. There will be an opportunity for live questions and answers at the end.

Bassem Elmankabadi, M.D. is the clinical development lead for FibroGen DMD program. Bassem has held multiple clinical leadership roles in Amgen oncology and nephrology. Prior to joining FibroGen in Feb 2018, Bassem was a Senior Medical director, responsible for Imlygic and Prasabiv programs at Amgen. Bassem experience also including registration phase 2 and phase 3 clinical trials required for NDA and BLA submissions for both PARSABIV and Imlygic in US and in EU.
Before Amgen, Bassem was a Medical Director, clinical instructor at UCLA for KRAS oncogene program, FOLFOX/FOLFIRI for refractory colorectal cancer. Bassem is a board certified minimally invasive surgeon, he completed his surgical training at Brooklyn hospital center, affiliated with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and his internship and trauma rotation at SUNY Downstate, in Brooklyn New York. Bassem received his M.D. degree followed by master degree (MSc) in Ophthalmology from University of Cairo, in Cairo Egypt.
