Resources for Medical Professionals
Each year, we recruit volunteers who see eye to eye with our mission, who are trustworthy and creative, and who are comfortable wearing lots of hats. We’re looking for individuals strong in character, personality and integrity, those who are mature and responsible, and people who like working as part of a team.
All applicants, including returning volunteers, must complete an online application. As part of this online application, you will be asked to upload the following:
Final hiring is also contingent upon submission of your medical documents. These forms are required from all new volunteers and they are good for two years. If you are a returning applicant who submitted these forms last year, please notify our office and we will look up your medical documents from last year.
Signed and completed Medical Form
Copy of volunteer’s immunization records
Medical documents must be filled out and submitted 10 weeks prior to the start of your camp.
Returning counselor interviews are optional, but Jett Foundation reserves the right to interview any applicant as deemed necessary to provide the best care to our campers. Any counselor is also welcome to schedule an interview with Camp Promise Leadership as part of the application process.
A background Check must be completed before acceptance to camp. You will receive an email invite requesting that you complete the necessary info needed. You will receive all the information needed to complete the background check after your interview is complete.
Accepted volunteers will receive a Welcome Packet via email that includes staff handbook, list of theme days, packing list, and directions to camp.
Tune in on February 29 to hear from our panel and moderators on how they are accomplishing goals and living life to the fullest!
Your gift helps Jett Foundation provide programming and opportunities, such as Camp Promise, to many families impacted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy each year.
