  • Cathedral CavernsWoodville, Alabama – This cave has the widest entrance of any commercial cave in the world, and a paved path a mile long making it easy to roll into! Tours are given every hour throughout the day.
  • Morgans WonderlandSan Antonio, Texas – All the rides and attractions at this theme park are adapted to accommodate visitors with mobility impairments, including a ferris wheel! Also, cool off at Morgan’s Inspiration Island, their ultra-accessible water park.
  • Cobb Creek CabinsMurphy, North Carolina – If you’re looking to get away for a weekend, this wheelchair friendly cabin may be for you. And for an added bonus, these cabins are located right across from an alpaca ranch! Take a tour of the ranch and see the alpacas up-close during your visit.
  • NASCAR Hall of FameCharlotte, North Carolina – If you’re a race fan you will want to check this out. This museum is filled with artifacts, interactive activities, and you can even drive your powered wheelchair into an adapted race car!
  • Blue Ridge Scenic RailwayBlue Ridge, Georgia – This vintage train is the perfect way to see some great views. The ride starts in Blue Ridge, and is an hour to the Georgia/Tennessee state line. • One Rare Adventure – This four day adventure is offered both in-person and virtually this summer! Founded within one family’s Duchenne journey, One Rare provides resources and opportunities for the rare disease community such as adulthood guidance, physical care, mental preparation, and emotional support.
