In honor of National Archery Day, we’re excited to share with you the story of Amin Lakhani, who discovered his passion for archery at Camp Promise.

Meet Stephanie-Lynn, a volunteer lifeguard at Camp Promise-West. She supervised all of our water activities, including swimming in our indoor heated pool and hot tub, as well as boating and fishing on our waterfront, in 2012 and 2013.

We are thrilled to announce that we have been chosen as 1 of 7 summer camps in the country selected to participate in THE LUNA PROJECT, a study by The Stanford Center for Sleep Research.

Today is officially the first day of the 2017 camp season! We know this because today is the day when we release our Summer 2017 applications.

We’re entering our 9th season of Camp Promise and it’s gotten us thinking about where we were and where we’re going. To that end, we realized it was time to update our website, to really show off who we are.

Exciting news, guys! We’re officially looking to add a new member to our office team here at Camp Promise. Specifically, we’re looking to fill a Camp Registrar role to help with our recruitment and enrollment processes.

Do you miss camp? Have you already started counting down the days until next summer? Well, keep at it because we’re excited to officially announce our camp dates for Summer 2017.

We’ve finally caught up on our sleep and are ready to look back at Camp Promise-West 2016. And, what an incredible week it was.

Today we say farewell and thank you to Alyssa, our summer intern. It feels like just a short while ago she joined our team, but in the time since, she has contributed greatly to camp.

A week ago we said farewell (until next summer) to our Camp Promise-Rockies campers and volunteers. Everyone went home with new lifelong memories and smiles plastered to their faces.

As we think back on our week together, we realize just how many new friends we made, and how much camp magic we witnessed. We miss our campers and volunteers, and have already started counting down the days until CPE2017.
