The heat could not stop the riders of the first ever JettRide, Jr. this past Saturday in Windham, NH. Despite the scorching temperatures, 15 kids biked the long and 1-mile route to cross the finish line, demonstrating their strength and resiliency, to raise awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
The race was organized by Liam Mullaly and his family to honor their beloved Connor who is impacted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Liam and his fellow riders raised over $2,000! Best of all, Connor crossed the finish line in his electric bicycle surrounded by his siblings.
A huge shout out to AJ Leitizio Sales and Marketing for providing drinks and snacks along the route. This fueled our riders and offered them some much needed relief from the heat!
All racers were treated to breakfast from MaryAnn’s Diner before the race began and celebrated crossing the finish line at the Lobster Tail. Good food and good times were had by all.
We cannot thank the Mullaly family and the Windham community for all the planning and support that went into this fun and successful event!
